Dear Mr. Harvey Weinstein,
I am writing to advise you on my evaluation of Hoodwinked Too and to tell you if I think you should produce it.  Hoodwinked Too is about LIttle Red Riding Hood being part of a secret agency.  Hansel and Gretel are the villains who kidnap her grandmother.  They want her grandmother to make a truffle that will make them powerful.  In the following paragraphs please find what I thought about this movie and allow me to explain what I think you should do.
In Hoodwinked Too I believe the movie effectively used traditional fairy tale characteristics.   One traditional fairy tale trait was the use of magic powers.  One way they expressed this was through the truffles that made the villains super powerful after they ate one.  Another trait was the use of talking animals.  The movie only had a few humans involved.  Another characteristic was the lesson in the end of the story.  In this case the lesson learned was don’t eat too many truffles.  All it really managed to do was to make them really fat!
This movie also used many recognizable elements from many other fairy tales such as the characters Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel, the grandmother and the wolf.  Although these were recognizable, there was nothing else at all similar to the traditional fairy tales as we know them.
Since there was little else in common with the traditional fairy tales the story itself was very original and creative.  The plot was about how Little Red Riding Hood, who worked for the secret agency, was going to save the world from two giant children.  The giants were Hansel and Gretel after eating the magic truffles.  The story also had a very large mix of characters from several stories which helped to make the story even more original.  However, even with all the originality and creativity the lesson did not seem to be that big or be such a great lesson.
After evaluating Hoodwinked Too my opinion would be to not produce it.  My prediction would be that this movie would not be a big hit or be worth the money you would spend on it.  I say this because although the beginning of the movie kept you entertained, the middle of the movie was a lot of the same and I lost interest.  It became annoying. I also think the ending was very weak and I don’t think this movie would open to good reviews and you would start to lose a lot of your investment.
